Lacey is turning 4 on Sunday. Where did my baby go? She is getting so big; she is looking taller and leaner all the time. And her hair has finally grown in. ;)
She knows just about all the letters, and is learning how to write them. Her teacher is going to start teaching them how to write their name in the second half of the school year. She’s actually getting pretty good at writing my name, with help. :P
Lacey just amazes us every day. She is so caring and kind-hearted, and asks the most intelligent questions sometimes. I’m so proud of her, and she makes us so happy. She loves to snuggle, and it’s one of the highlights of my day.
She also continues to crack us up with her silliness. ;) There is a new afternoon teacher at school, and after introductions, the first thing she said to me was “Lacey is so funny!” I love that she has such a great sense of humor. She also loves to roughhouse, especially with daddy. ;)
She is very nurturing, too. One of her favorite activities is to play with her babies. (Usually a small stuffed animal). I find little babies all over the place tucked snugly in a little blankie. What a good mommy she is. ;)
We all made cupcakes last night for Lacey to take to school today. I can’t cook, but I can bake. ;) I felt like June Cleaver, though. :P
Happy Birthday, baby. Mommy loves you. Now go clean your room. :P
