Just a summary of interesting/funny things Lacey has said recently...
She decided she's going to be a police officer when she grows up. She's going to wear a skirt and high heels and step on the bad guy with her heels. Cool. That's my tough girly-girl.
After a couple of discussions about how babies come out of their mommies' tummies (gulp), she recently informed me that when she had a baby, it was going to come out of her bagina. When I had previously explained that that is how some babies are born, she had asked me, "But it doesn't hurt, right?" Heh. Um, yeah, it does. "Oh.[thoughtful pause]." I guess she's decided to risk it. ;)
Lately Lacey has been saying "Are you serious? Are you even joking?" when Matt says something to her. Smart kid. I think she's on to him...
We recently took a trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium (pics coming soon), and Grandpa Bill and Susan met us there. Randomly Lacey called Grandpa - "Bill-Bill." After we all had a chuckle and commented on it, she followed it up with an eye roll and a dramatic "Ohh, Bill-Bill." This was especially funny to me because some years ago while visiting Bill's parents, his mother called him "Billy," and I didn't let him live that one down for quite a while. "Ok, Billy.[snort]"

That's my girl...I hope she wears 4 inch stilettos. Watch out bad guys. She tough just like her grandma...but feminine when she wants to be!!!
